This seaside lodge is three miles north of the small town of Fresh Creek on Andros, the largest island in the Bahamas. Its proximity to Andros Barrier Reef makes it popular among divers and snorkelers. And its easygoing style means guests have limited access to phones and fax; Internet access is complimentary in the lodge office, but there are no newspapers or guestroom TVs.
Guests can relax in hammocks strung between palm trees or in a spa tub on the beach. A range of water activities are offered on site, including windsurfing and sailing, and a common area with sofas, chairs, and fireplace provides games, ecology information, and ocean views.

This hotel has 21 guestrooms in one-story oceanfront cottages with patios. Room décor is local island style with tile floor, dark-wood platform beds, armchair, end tables, ceiling fan, and stand-alone fan. Some rooms have a sofa. All rooms feature locally-made batik fabric curtains and bedspreads. Eleven of the rooms are air-conditioned and of these, four are two-bedroom, shared bathroom cabins for families and single travelers. A surcharge applies for air conditioning.
